School contributions – parents are reminded of the importance of school financial contributions towards the funding of school programs and resources. Reminder invoices are sent regularly. If any parent is experiencing financial difficulty, please notify the principal with a letter marked Confidential so that a review of outstanding amounts can be completed.
Office Hours and Lost Property – parents are reminded that reception is open from 8.00am till 3.15pm and the cash desk is open at 8:00am till 1.15pm and all non-valuable lost property is placed in a central clearing area at the far end of the administration corridor. The automatic doors are only opened from the inside by office staff for security reasons.
Early Leave - procedures regarding leaving school early for any reason eg. medical, dentist you will need to email the school before school commences at 9.00am on the day of her appointment. You will need to include in the email what time she will be leaving and if she is leaving by herself or by public transport. Please see attached PDF Early Leavers Form.
Leave Applications – procedures regarding applications for extended leave are developed by the Department of Education. Applications for leave are submitted to the principal outlining exceptional reasons with appropriate documentation required to justify leave of absence. If this cannot be done, leave will not be approved and any absence will be recorded as unjustified on reports and official records. If leave is approved, a Certificate of Leave for Extended Travel will be granted and recorded in student attendance files. Parents are advised to keep this in mind especially when booking overseas trips around school holiday times. NSGHS Bus Pass - procedures regarding NSGHS bus passes, please complete the application and submit to the school office, once approved your child will be issued with a NSGHS bus pass.
