Our Principal and Staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
As Principal at North Sydney Girls High School, our dream is for all students to continue to reach for the stars, believe they can do anything and trust in themselves. Resilient, supportive of each other and willing to make a difference in the world are attributes I see in our impressive Alumni, and attributes I hope we can all attain.
Our motto, Ad Altiora, resonates in all we aim to do. We are committed to continuous improvement in the delivery of a holistic education; improving our curriculum, wellbeing and leadership opportunities for our school community. As a school we strive to create a culture of high expectations, where our gifted learners are challenged by an innovative, creative and engaging curriculum both inside and outside the classroom. We seek to connect with our community, engage with the real world and seek opportunities to broaden the education of our students. We also aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment to meet the needs of our diverse learners.

Our School Executives
Working with exceptionally talented pupils is something that our staff is passionate about and has expertise with. Through our school development days, we make the most of the expertise within the school and, when appropriate, experts from national and international universities to further our understanding and ensure we are guided by best practice in gifted education. We are fortunate to be able to focus our staff's professional learning to specifically meet the needs of highly gifted students.
Get to know our school staff. We're all here to help.
